Statement
Why do I want to study at Manchester School of Architecture. Having looked at a variety of universities and their architectural courses I found that many focus primarily on design. As an aspiring architect, I recognise the significance of design based learning but also theory based learning. I understand the importance of technicalities within architecture alongside aesthetics. Manchester School of Architecture offers a combination of these components, through a course that gives credit across humanities, theory and practicals and this highly appeals to me. While having the advantage of a well structured course, MSA also sits within a large city rich in culture, contemporary architecture, and innovative architects.
